Introduction
In an era where health inequality continues to challenge millions across Nigeria, one organisation is already charting a bold course forward. Though only 10 days old, the Iphamar™ Care Foundation has proven it is not here to make promises — but to deliver impact. Launched on 22nd May 2025 as the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of Iphamar™ Limited, the Foundation wasted no time in taking action, with its first community outreach already reaching hundreds of lives in Lagos.
A Foundation Born from Purpose
The Iphamar™ Care Foundation was established to respond to the growing healthcare challenges in underserved communities across Nigeria. With a mission to improve access to essential medical care, health education, and wellness support, the Foundation aims to bridge the gap where public resources often fall short.
Backed by Iphamar™ Limited, a fast-growing pharmaceutical supply chain company, the Foundation aligns strategic partnerships with grassroots execution — ensuring that even the most vulnerable are not left behind.
Ajasa Medical Outreach: From Launch to Lifesaving Impact
Barely a week after its formation, the Foundation held its inaugural Ajasa Medical Outreach on Saturday, 31st May 2025, at RCCG House of Victory Zonal Headquarters in Alimosho, Lagos.
Hundreds of residents received:
- Free medical consultations and vital health screenings (blood pressure, blood sugar, vision tests)
- Eye health checks and deworming treatments
- Nutritional and wellness education, including the talk “Silent Killers in Your Kitchen: How to Eat Healthy on a Budget in Today’s Nigeria”
- Essential medications and vitamins, provided free of charge
- Free prescription glasses for 50 beneficiaries (ready for collection soon)
What made this outreach different? It wasn’t just the numbers — it was the quality of care, the human connection, and the commitment to continuity.
Leadership with Experience and Vision
The Foundation is led by a team of committed professionals and community leaders who bring credibility and clarity of purpose.
- Stephen Adeyemi, CEO of Iphamar™ Limited, described the initiative as “a strategic response to the healthcare challenges facing underserved communities.”
- Professor Tanimola Akande, Public Health expert and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, noted: “This CSR initiative is poised to make a lasting impact by reducing morbidity and mortality among target populations.”
- Pastor Kayode Afolayan, Director of Corporate Communications, praised the efforts of volunteers, medical professionals, and partner organisations, all of whom played a key role in the outreach’s success.
Building Sustainable Healthcare Access
Although the Foundation is new, its blueprint is clear. The Ajasa outreach is only the beginning of a broader mission to:
- Organise regular community medical outreaches across Nigeria
- Collaborate with public health stakeholders and NGOs
- Promote preventive health education
- Support vulnerable populations, especially in peri-urban and rural areas
The team is currently reviewing feedback from the Ajasa outreach to fine-tune future events for greater reach and efficiency.
Join Us: Be Part of the Solution
As the Iphamar™ Care Foundation sets its sights on upcoming outreaches and partnerships, it welcomes:
- Healthcare professionals who wish to volunteer
- Corporate sponsors and NGOs interested in collaboration
- Community leaders seeking to bring healthcare services to their localities
If you believe in healthcare as a human right, now is the time to partner with a Foundation that is already walking the talk.
